New to RWTH and arriving a bit late?
If you’re arriving late due to visa delays, late exams, or a recent acceptance, you’re not alone! Even if you missed Welcome Week and First-Year Orientation Week, there are many resources at RWTH to help you start your studies successfully and feel at home.

Fit for RWTH – Our New Platform for All Latecomers
On our new “Fit for RWTH” website, we’ve gathered all the essential information for you. Here, you’ll find tips, resources, and events tailored for latecomers to help you settle in and make the most of your start at RWTH.

RWTH Latecomer Program – Your Second Chance to Get Started
From November 11 to 14, 2024, the Latecomer Program offers international students a compact introduction to life and learning at RWTH. This program includes meet-and-greet activities, campus tours, intercultural training, first-semester planning tutorials, and a tour on Student Initiatives Day—a perfect way to make connections and experience the diverse campus life.

Registration
Students who missed the initial weeks can register for the Latecomer Program from October 28 to November 7, 2024, via the Guestoo platform. This program is designed for new international degree-seeking students who, for various reasons, could not attend Welcome Week or Freshman Week. It helps them integrate smoothly into the RWTH community.

Note for RWTH Staff and Advisors
If you work with international students who may have missed their start, please direct them to the Latecomer Program and the “Fit for RWTH” website. These resources are a valuable source of support for students looking to orient themselves in the university environment and connect with others.
