The AStA offers detailed advice on all aspects of studying with a child. Do not hesitate to contact us by mail, by phone, or in person.
In addition, the RWTH Family Service also offers advice on all questions relating to successful studies with children. They can help you with your search for childcare facilities, the arranging of nannies or babysitters and much more.

Childcare
The student body of the RWTH supports the ”Uni und Kind e.V.” for children under 3 years of age as well as the day care center ”Zauberschloss” financially by allocating a small portion of the semester fee for them. Both institutions were initiated by parents and grant preferential admission to children whose parents are enrolled at the RWTH while only charging a small fee.

Studierendenwerk Aachen
The Studierendenwerk Aachen has set up a family center. Thanks to this network of institutions, any questions regarding the upbringing and relief of parents can be answered here. They offer a number if courses for student parents and their children as well as a nursery and the arrangement of nannies.
