As of Friday, August 20th, stricter regulations apply to exams, courses, university sports and study rooms. Participation in courses & exams in presence is now only possible for tested, recovered or vaccinated persons (“3G rule”). The general mask requirement still applies in all buildings, but not at the seat during an exam.
Vaccinated: Proof of complete vaccination that is at least 14 days ago is required. The vaccine must be one recognized by the EU.
Recovered: Proof of having recovered from a Corona infection (in German or English) is required.
Tested: A negative corona test (“Bürgertest”), no more than 48 hours old, from a certified testing site is required. At some events, on-site self-testing will continue to be offered – in this case, you will be informed via the respective facility.
RWTH will not offer separate facilities for test/proof refusers.
Study rooms & university sports: The “3G rule” also applies to study rooms and university sports as of Friday.
